The International Youth Convention (IYC) of the Church of God started in 1924 as a youth day. In 1930, the first three-day, biennial youth convention took place. Since then, IYC events have been held across the U.S. and in three Canadian provinces. In the late 1990s, the Youth Ministry Team created a purpose: to inspire life change. This goal guides the convention, leading thousands of young people to important decisions, including entering full-time ministry or missions and committing to Christ-centered leadership.
